Break is very amused right now. The little Nightray boy probably wouldn’t be, but oh well.

Not much new, today’s the same as yesterday for Break.

To say Break was upset right now was a colossal understatement. After being firmly told to leave her alone this afternoon, Break did as he was told, but he still needed to check on her later on in the evening. An empty room wasn’t that unusual, that normally meant she was just in another part of the manor, and it was a simple matter of tracking down where in it she was.

When no one knew where she was, that’s when a ball formed in Break’s stomach akin to one made of led. Even if he could see, his vision would be blurring right now from just being unable to properly focus.

Where the hell was she?!

If such a thing were possible, Break would have ruts going on in the hallways on the first floor. Of course Sheryl was quietly told right away when it was realized that Sharon’s current whereabouts were unknown, and the fact that there were absolutely no leads on who would’ve taken her, let alone where. Orders were given to scour the grounds for any clues before daylight ran out. Obviously he was of no help for that task, so Break had the sordid one of staying put and waiting for either a breakthrough or not.

The waiting did nothing to keep his mind occupied, especially not with the thoughts that were currently running through it. Or more specifically, the memories.

He’s felt this feeling before. Coming back to somewhere and finding the person you were meant to see was gone. The utter feeling of helplessness that washes over you as the realization hits your mind. He knew this feel all too well. It was the Sinclair’s all over again, or not far from it. Not something he’d planned on experiencing ever again, but then again, who planned for something like this to happen?

He never should’ve left her alone this afternoon. This was probably his fault she was gone. If he’d been either in her room or nearby, he could’ve fought the bastards that took her. He would’ve given them hell for laying a hand on his Sharon.

Pacing…

     More pacing…

God he hated this, but he literally had no other choice. Equus was not in his shadow, he would’ve sensed the chain’s presence if she sent him to Break.

He still had that lead ball in the pit of his stomach. This wasn’t good.

Someone’s pissed off, and apparently taking the anger out on sugar cubes again.

If there had been any candy left in the manor, it was in his stomach by this point.

Everyday he’s shufflin’ off to bed and in a bad mood, he’s not sure why though.

Of course it only took his birthday to bring the Hatter out of hiding. He took the liberty of snitching more than a few sweets from the Rainsworth kitchen along with anything Gilbert had at his apartment, and now Break was enjoying them along with some Earl Grey. Good way to end his birthday, yes?
