Seeing that content smile on his face only pushed her to keep such thoughts and worries locked in her mind. How could she ruin his mood? He was happy. Voicing her thoughts would only ruin his mood— she didn’t want to take that chance. So instead, she simply remained quiet, eyes focusing on the window. Thank god he couldn’t see her face right now.
“I have, but that doesn’t mean you’re no less fun to tease regardless of your age~”
He had been off talking to Liam as Sharon knew he was, so he was completely unaware of what’d transpired in the room just minutes before he returned to an unhappy Sharon; little did he know that she was though. If she was doing a convincing enough job with her voice, then he’d be none the wiser to the truth. If he knew that in reality Sharon’s mood was lower than the ground, he’d be doing anything in his power to get her to smile again. It just wouldn’t do for her to be anything but happy.
